For developers

Feedback you don't have to translate first.

Every piece of feedback comes with element, selector, page and viewport. No guessing which button was meant — and no retyping into your issue tracker.

Why developers like markable

Precise feedback instead of vague descriptions.

Anchors that survive changes

Comments store a chain of features: data-gomarkable attribute, id, test attributes, CSS path, XPath and text. Uncertain matches are shown dashed.

Complete export

JSON with every detail (anchor, text excerpt, image URL, position, viewport) — re-importable. Plus CSV and Markdown for tickets.

Prepare your pages

data-gomarkable attributes on sections make anchors especially stable — the extension ships a script that stamps templates automatically.

Visibility handled

Markers only appear when their element is visible — reliably, even in fixed headers, collapsed accordions or sliders.

Work through it like a queue

Overview by page, filter by status, "Show on page" jumps straight to the element.

Workflow

From comment to commit.

  1. Review the feedback

Turn on view mode: all comments appear as numbered markers, a click opens the thread with the element frame.

    Alt Shift V

  2. Export

Export open items as CSV or JSON and bring them into Jira, Linear & co. — or resolve them right in markable.

  3. Tick off

Mark as resolved and reply in the thread. Everyone involved sees the new status instantly.

Never again "the button top right".
